MADHYA PRADESH FORMATION DEATAILS

MP FORMATION:   ESTD :: 1NOV,1956.

                         (NAME---MP--->WAS GIVEN BY PT.JAWAHER LAL NEHRU)

    MP was earlier(during British era) known in the form of CENTRAL PROVINCES AND BERAR.
    After freadom of INDIA, M.P. was built as combination of three states:         

•         STATE-A---> CAPITAL: NAGPUR

•         STATE-B--->CAPITAL:GWALIOR AND INDORE

•         STATE-C --->CAPITAL: REWA

1. STATE-A:    It was made by combining 'Central Provinces & Berar states' with 'Chhatisgarh' and  'Baghelkhand state'.
2. STATE-B: It was made by combining the 'West Riyasatas'.
3. STATE-C: It was made by combining the 'North Riyasatas'.

 MADHYA PRADESH VIEW IN THE INDIAN PREPARTITION MAP:

IMPORTANT FACT:

 A.  BHOPAL WAS THE PART OF STATE-C. before that it was just a tehsil in sehore district.

 B.  PART-C was known as 'Madhya bharat'.

 C. Formation of MP was done under the chairmanship of 'FAJAL ALI'.

 D. New Born MP was having only 43 districts. 

 E. THERE WAS A MAHAKAUSHAL STATE ALSO with its CAPITAL JABALPUR.

IMPORTANT DIVIDES:

1. IN 2008:        

• ALIRAJPUR district was made by dividing it from JHABUA(PART OF INDORE DIVISION).

•   SINGRAULI district made by sividing it from SIDHI( PART OF REWA DIVISION)

      2.    IN END OF 2013:                                                                                                         

•   AGER MALWA was made by dividing it from SHAJAPUR(PART OF UJJAIN DIV.)

IMPORTANT MERGE:

DINDORI MERGED TO JABALPUR DIVISION which earlier was the part of SHAHDOL DIVISION.
